Welcome to the mouthwatering world of Bad Boy Burgers, a hidden gem located at 815 S Vista Ave, Boise, ID. First impressions matter, and Bad Boy Burgers nails it with an inviting atmosphere and a menu designed to satisfy every craving. Whether you're stopping by for a quick bite or seeking a hearty meal, this place is your new go-to.
Let’s dive into what makes Bad Boy Burgers stand out—a dedicated focus on classic, no-frills goodness. Their burgers, particularly the Double Bacon Cheeseburger, have garnered rave reviews. Customers praise its perfect preparation, generous toppings, and classic appeal, all at an unbeatable price of US$12.99 on Fridays, which includes a side of fries and a drink. One enthusiastic patron, Johnathan Woodman, remarked, "This isn’t some artisanal fancy burger, this is a classic made right!" The simplicity speaks volumes about their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
For those seeking variety, Bad Boy Burgers offers a delightful selection of salads, sandwiches, and side orders. The patty melt, as highlighted by Robin Donovan, exemplifies their versatility with a garden burger option that’s spot on with its rye bread and melty cheese. It’s a perfect pick for vegetarians who crave a satisfying meal.
Let’s talk sides. The handmade onion rings and crispy fries, with optional fry sauce, elevate the entire experience. Many customers, including Amanda, can’t resist the combo deals that allow for indulgence without breaking the bank. She shared her joy after tackling both a burger and a chicken sandwich in one go—proving that at Bad Boy Burgers, it’s all about enjoying food unapologetically.
What adds to the charm of this establishment is its connection to local history. Run by the same team that once brought you Rockies Diner—famous from Man vs. Food—there's a sense that you’re part of something special. Perhaps the return of their notorious food challenges is on the horizon, much to the delight of loyal customers like Dante Medori.
In summary, Bad Boy Burgers isn’t just about satisfying hunger; it's about reveling in food that feels like home. With a menu filled with hearty choices, friendly service, and a flair for comfort food, it's a spot worth revisiting. Come for the burgers, stay for the experience, and leave with a full and happy belly.
“ First time here, should've taken a pic. Today is Friday and their Friday special is a 12.99 double bacon cheeseburger with fries and a drink. The bun and toppings are very basic, nothing special, but it was prepared just perfectly, loaded with topics and sauce. Fries even came with a side of sauce of choice. This isn't some artisnal fancy 19.99 burger, this is a classic double bacon cheeseburger made right, served quickly and with a smile. And at that price, that makes this far better than a chain fast food joint. Strong recommend. ”
“ They know how to make a patty melt. I ordered with a garden burger patty instead of beef and it was everything I was hoping for. The rye bread, onions and cheese are spot on! So glad I can pop in for a vegetarian patty melt fix right on the bench. Thank you! ”
“ If I am not mistaken, this joint is run by the same people who used to own Rockies Diner - the diner that was featured in Man vs. Food when Adam took on the challenge. I think it would be pretty cool if the owners of Bad Boy Burgers should bring back the challenge. It was a 4.5-pound burger and 1 pound of chili cheese French fries with a 16-ounce milkshake. I wonder if they still have the rollerskating waitresses like they did when they ran the diner. ”
“ The ultimate hangover cure is a thick, greast sandwich from Bad Boy Burgers. They made my miserable day a thousand times better the moment I took my first bite of that bad boy. Lol get it? I couldn’t decide between a burger or chicken sandwich so I got both because I deserve it. And I got them both in a combo for the extra fries. The Double Bacon Cheeseburger (10.75 for the combo) filled a hole in my life I didn’t know was there. There’s something I absolutely love about these quick, cheap burgers. My other sandwich, the Chicken Bacon Ranch (9.75 for the combo) was equally as great. I added jalapenos (0.50) for that extra kick. It was quite disastrous to eat so I had to have plenty of napkins around but who cares when it’s so damn good. They were generous with the bacon on both sammies. I highly recommend a grabbing a couple cups of fry sauce (0.50 each) to pair with the crispy, heavenly fries and sandwiches. For 25.00 I had an amazing meal from a local estasblishment that not only cured my headache but made my life better because now I know what I’ve been missing out on!! Sorry for bad pics I was too excited to start digging in. ”
“ The colossal burger and fries were so delicious. (added American cheese on burger). The bun was toasted to perfection giving it a delightful crunch. Their creamy fry sauce goes well with the crunchy yet soft fries. ”
“ I am a lettuce girlie & I always ask for extra lettuce on my burgers/sandwiches, usually I am disappointed by the amount I receive....not this time! PERFECT amount of extra lettuce! TONS on my burger! It was so good! Bad boys always hits the spot for breakfast on the road but this Berger was perfection! Thank you 3 ”
“ Cute retro restaurant with outside seating. The burgers were thin and perfectly cooked. Onion rings and tater tots had a perfect crunch. Recommend trying them. ”
“ This place has been around forever and it's always good. Their breakfast burritos are bomb! ”
